Stuart founded Severn Vale as a family business built on a clear belief: people deserve to be treated with the same care, respect and compassion we would want for our own loved ones. Families turn to Severn Vale knowing they will be listened to, supported and cared for thoughtfully during some of life’s most challenging moments.
As Founder, Stuart remains closely involved in setting the standards of care and companionship delivered across the service, ensuring every client feels valued, safe and respected in their own home. He also contributes to the wider social care sector through speaking engagements and board roles, and proudly supports organisations including the Care Innovation Summit, Championing Social Care and Dementia UK.
Outside of work, Stuart enjoys painting, printmaking, writing, and spending time with his dog, Monty.
Tony brings nearly 20 years’ experience in social care, having worked across a range of care settings throughout Worcestershire. Families are reassured by his deep understanding of how high-quality home care helps people remain independent, safe and comfortable in their own homes.
As Registered Care Manager, Tony oversees care standards to ensure services are delivered consistently, compassionately and in line with individual needs, drawing on first-hand experience of the positive difference thoughtful care can make.
Outside of work, Tony enjoys music, playing guitar in a local band and having conversations about film.
Ellie brings over 15 years’ experience in care and is deeply committed to helping people remain living safely and comfortably in their own homes. Families value her practical understanding of care and her calm, supportive approach.
Having started her career as a Care Professional, Ellie progressed into her role as Deputy Care Manager. This hands-on experience gives her strong insight into what works best for both clients and care teams, supporting care delivered with consistency, dignity and compassion.
Outside of work, Ellie enjoys spending time with her family, especially when it involves a little sunshine.
Melony brings over 30 years’ experience in care, with a longstanding commitment to domiciliary care that enables people to remain living independently at home. Families are reassured by her strong focus on dignity, safety and consistently high standards.
With experience across a wide range of roles, Melony has a deep understanding of what good care looks like in practice. As Compliance & Quality Manager, she ensures care is delivered thoughtfully and in line with regulatory requirements and Severn Vale’s values.
Outside of work, Melony enjoys spending time with her young family and attending live music and concerts.
Jenny plays a key role at Severn Vale as a friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for individuals and families seeking advice about care. She offers impartial guidance and reassurance, helping people understand their options with clarity, compassion and confidence.
Alongside this, Jenny leads Severn Vale’s live-in care service, ensuring families feel confident their loved one is truly known, respected and safe at home. With extensive experience in hands-on care and management, she specialises in personalised, consistent care built on thoughtful matching and clear communication.
Jenny also leads community events and charity work, strengthening local connections. She believes strong relationships are at the heart of exceptional care.
Sarah is often one of the first people families speak to and takes pride in making sure everyone feels welcomed, listened to and supported from the very first conversation. Friendly, approachable and calm, she believes reassurance and clear communication are key to confident care decisions.
With over 10 years’ experience in care and more than 25 years in customer-focused roles, Sarah supports care coordination that helps clients remain safe, comfortable and independent at home.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys early morning walks with her dog, Ozzy, on the Malvern Hills.
Karen joined Severn Vale in 2023 and brings a warm, reliable approach to her role as Area Team Leader. Having progressed from Care Professional into leadership, she offers practical understanding and empathy, helping families feel reassured that care is delivered with consistency and compassion.
She supports clients across the Malvern area while also updating care plans, carrying out reviews and supporting care professionals, helping ensure care is delivered safely, with dignity and in a way that supports independence at home.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys supporting her children at their sporting events and looks forward to spending time together on family holidays.
Amber has been part of the Severn Vale team for four years and has worked as a Team Leader for the past two. She chose a career in care driven by her natural desire to help others and the close bond she shared with her grandparents, which continues to shape her compassionate approach.
Families value Amber’s kind, considerate nature and the genuine care she brings to her role. As Team Leader, she supports clients through regular care visits, keeps care plans up to date, carries out reviews, supports care professionals and provides on-call cover when needed, helping ensure care is delivered safely, consistently and with dignity.
Outside of work, Amber enjoys riding and caring for her horse, Cool Choice, known as Bug — and particularly enjoys team chasing.
Isabella brings strong care experience and a calm, supportive leadership style to her role as Team Leader. Families value her reassuring presence, clear communication and confidence that care is delivered with kindness and respect.
She supports her team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care, focusing on dignity, independence and consistency so clients feel valued, listened to and secure.
Outside of work, Isabella is a keen horse rider and enjoys trail hunting with her horse, Browns.
Summer brings hands-on care experience and a warm, approachable leadership style to her role as Team Leader. Families value her calm manner, clear communication and commitment to person-centred care.
In her day-to-day role, Summer supports care teams to deliver safe, consistent and compassionate care, responding promptly to concerns and ensuring individual needs are met with dignity and respect.
Outside of work, Summer enjoys walking her dog, going to the gym and taking time to relax at the spa.
Monty plays a gentle but meaningful role at Severn Vale, helping create a calm, welcoming atmosphere for both the team and visitors. His friendly nature reflects the importance Severn Vale places on companionship, emotional wellbeing and feeling at ease.
As a therapy dog in training, Monty supports moments of connection and reassurance, reminding everyone that kindness and comfort are often found in the smallest interactions.
Outside of work, Monty enjoys walks, playing with his orange dinosaur and looking after Stuart.
